Issara in the Thai language describes the element of freedom and liberation as the lotus blossom arises from the water and moves towards the sunlight. Issara symbolizes the purity and determination of body, mind, and spirit to bring harmony into all life.
Embracing the strength of that lotus blossom – Issara Yoga combines my knowledge of western anatomy with my root knowledge of multiple yoga disciplines, Thai massage, Tai-Chi breathing, and meditation into a holistic practice designed for both the novice and the long-time practitioner.
My practice is my spiritual compass, a point of wisdom, an interdependence of light and breath and movement. I hope to share it with you.
